KOS LIES ON NATIONAL TV
I thought it would be entertaining - the debate between Harold Ford and Markos Moulitsas on meet the press - and it was. It doesn't get any better than lefty vs. extreme lefty IMO.
No doubts that Kos lost the debate, though. Not because Ford was debating effectively, mind you, but because Kos came across as deranged as he threw out deluded lie after deluded lie:
Bush and the DLC are responsible for the bridge collapse in Minneapolis. Only in Kos' world is a 46% increase in highway funds "allowing the infrastructure to crumble".
The tax cuts are responsible for the national debt. Kos, please read the constitution (it's available online!), try to find the part about who spends the cash.
That he has to be dishonest to get his points across should tell you all you need to know about the quality of his points.
